Biomutant: Costs recorded after a week - new sales number

Biomutant caused a disappointment with a metascore of 64 . But financially considered, the title for the Publisher THQ Nordic seems to be a great success. Within a week, all costs were collapsed and the number of sales is now 1 million.

The success message comes from the Embracer Group, the owner of THQ Nordic. The company yesterday out the preliminary financial results for the first quarter 2021.

The report can be found in that the sales of Biomutant in the first week not only cover developing and marketing costs, but also imported the investment that embroeckers issued for the acquisition of the Experiment 101 and the Biomutant IP.

The main sales carrier in the quarter was the publication of Biomutant from our internal studio experiment 101, said the words in the financial report. So far, the game has sold more than a million times. The total investment in development and marketing as well as the acquisition costs for experiment 101 and the IP were brought back within a week after the start.
