Update: Monster Hunter Rise – Sunbreak: Add

Update from 27.09.2021: The extension Sunbreak for Monster Hunter Rise will also appear for the PC in the summer of 2022. This has now communicated Capcom. In contrast to the main game, you do not have to wait so long until you can enjoy the new content on the PC. There is not yet available.

Original message from 24.09.2021: In March, Capcom has served all fans of the Monster Hunter series, which have a Nintendo Switch, a bit strongly served. Monster Hunter Rise has been customary in our test and has also been expanded with many free additional contents in the following months. But since the summer it has become quite quiet for the action role-playing game, except and again of a new event quest, there is nothing more. That could be because Capcom works at a large extension in the style of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. This bears the title Sunbkreak and should appear in the summer of 2022.

The Announcement Trailer, who celebrated his premiere in the Nintendo Direct last night, does not show much yet. You will receive impressions from a dark-looking dragon, which is a completely new monster, possibly another dragon elevator. This beast will turn the story of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. The add-on is waiting with new quests, but also areas and of course a bunch of other monsters. In addition, there should be new hunting activities and further quests.

Nintendos Executive Officer Yoshiaki Koizumi, which has moderated the Nintendo Direct, speaks that Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak should be huge . There are no more information about the extension yet.

It is unclear whether Sunbreak will already appear next year for the PC. We remember: a PC version of Monster Hunter Rise is announced for the spring 2022. With review of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, however, we assume that Sunbreak only seems for the switch and probably only 2023 for the PC.
